In my ordinary job, I am vice president of a large employee benefits consulting firm. In other words, I am a sales guy, working with a group of very talented of agency owners and employees helping their clients and prospect understand the complicated world of employee benefits and establishing a different expectation from their benefits consultants. I love the sales aspect of the job, but also find the management, operations, geeky, and analytical parts interesting too. The downside is that the job means I am on the road all of the time. The upside is… that I am on the road all of the time.
Primarily though I am a father. I am a photographer, with developing skills. I am fierce friend. I am a writer. I am satisfied with who I am after many screw-ups and mistakes. I am human, with real emotions, but a better commitment to maintaining my part of the social contract between people. And this blog is a record of that commitment and the life that I am now living.
